Bidrage med feedbackI have been a regular at Canvas cafe and I have nothing but praise for their service and food. One of the standout features of this cafe is their willingness to constantly update their menu with exciting new additions and evolve with their offerings. I have enjoyed a variety of incredibly tasty meals, from their divine hot chocolate to their supremely delicious cakes. I even tried their vegan fish and chips, which were amazing. In addition to their fantastic food, Canvas cafe is also a community-focused restaurant that does valuable outreach work. It is definitely my top choice whenever I am in east London.
I discovered the Canvas Cafe while browsing for spices on Brick Lane. I tried the Aint Chick Taco and the Battered Vish taco. The Aint Chick Taco was enjoyable, but the Battered Vish Taco was outstanding. I will definitely be returning to the Canvas Cafe the next time I am in London.
When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and one of the toast slices was burnt. The service did not go above and beyond to make up for the mishaps. Additionally, the ambience was lacking with a side door constantly open, letting in cold air, and off-duty staff members moving furniture and leaving the counter unattended. Overall, the experience was subpar, especially considering the price point and the abundance of other dining options in the area. We are unlikely to return in the near future.
Lovely vegan cafe in Brick Lane. Great service and incredible food. The hummus is world class and so is the orange cake.
Stumbled across this little gem while visiting Brick Lane. Very friendly. Fantastic coffee and Victoria sponge. The brownie looked good that my daughter had.
