The Bottlery Grill House - London

Strange mood. we arrived at 19:30 clock the time for our reservation. they looked at us like we were crazy when we mentioned a reservation. they have placed us at a high point on the bar while we had to wait for a table. it was 20 minutes before someone looked at us. After we got a bottle of wine, we have set up a food order, nothing that tasted some burger and an salad. After 45 minutes we had not eaten yet, although others who arrived after us received their food that was similar to us. music was extremely loud conversation very difficult. eating was not bad, but the service and the difficult conversation made the evening unpleasant!

Too expensive. I had a starter, but that didn't happen before my main meal. I recommended them and was told that the starter would arrive and then the main meal would be fresh again. if it had been, I would have given a higher rating. However, the main meal when I arrived after the starter was the original meal, which sat clearly under a warming lamp and was not particularly pleasant! my wife had steak her calculate £4 for pfeffergransoße (for what I guess was a package of pfeffersoße mix it was not something special). will not come back!

Me and my wife just had a long weekend in London and booked a hotel in Earls Court. I booked the Bottlery for Thursday evening and was really surprised how good it was. The bar was really cool with friendly efficient staff and a good choice of beers. The Bottlery is more renowned for wines and we chose a lovely red wine in a carafe with our meal. Food was excellent, I had ribeye (it is a grill house so you to try it) and my wife had sea bass. Both were top notch. Special mention to the maitre d' who was friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We returned on Saturday with a friend. Another excellent evening. Highly recommended.
