Bidrage med feedbackI visited this restaurant today and everything exceeded my expectations compared to my last review on 2020-03-02.
I noticed that HC didn't mark this restaurant as potentially closed, so I recommend double-checking before visiting. If it's still open, my experience dining at Squirrel in 2020 was decent. I ordered a vegan baked potato with a Kicherer chili topping which was a bit dry but tasty. In hindsight, I would suggest trying a different dish than the one I chose.
I love this place and would have given him a high rating, but sadly if I went today, the place is now completely closed, everything inside has gone and nothing has remained inside. Very sad!
I love the squirrel theme of this restaurant. Each table comes with its own salad bar offering a wide variety of options. You could visit every day for a month and never have the same salad twice. They also offer a delicious selection of brownies, blondies, and other treats. The decor is charming, resembling a treehouse.
This is a fast food place with an emphasis on health. There are quite a few vegan options on the menu and it 's conveniently located by South Kensington tube. It 's really nicely done inside. There 's quite a bit of seating, including the 'tree house ' upstairs (see pics). The staff were really friendly and helpful. The obvious benchmark for vegan-friendly healthy fast-food is the ubiquitous Pret and I think Squirrel came up a bit short. Firstly it 's more expensive (not surprising given the location and their likely overheads) and the wrap I had was a bit bland in taste. I still liked it overall and as the other reviewer says, we should support it. Worth a visit. Updated from previous review on 2018-07-12
