Bidrage med feedbackI stopped at this restaurant because the Chinese restaurant across the road told me I had to wait since I was alone, even though there were plenty of tables available. Feeling annoyed, I decided to go to this place instead. It's actually a takeaway with seating, not fancy at all, but it offers good, affordable food. It was a chilly night and the constant opening and closing of the door made it a bit cold and drafty. However, my Kung Pao Beef and Fried Rice were quite tasty. It may not be a top dining destination, but it's a decent place to enjoy a meal.
I ordered the Kung Pao prawns with egg fried rice for lunch and was pleased with the portion size for the price. If you're in the mood for a quick Chinese meal for lunch, this is the place to go.
Unbelievable value for money for a quick lunch. £7 for freshly cooked classic Chinese beef dish on rice with 1 drink, eating in!!! Easily my top choice for meals on the road, ideal for tourists or backpackers, who appreciate a plate of hearty warm food in a cold day. The sitting space is limited, and the menu is simple, but the taste is excellent, easily rivaling any of the big restaurants in China town.
I ordered the duck in black bean sauce with fried rice, which came with 4 spring rolls (in a separate bag) and sweet chilli dip, as well as a drink, all for £7.50. The portion size was generous with plenty of duck and chunky vegetables. The dish tasted fresh and the fried rice was not greasy. There are a few tables available for dining in, but since I was alone, I opted to take my meal back to my room. The staff were friendly and the meal was prepared quickly in front of me. This restaurant is perfect for a quick, affordable, and delicious meal in London. I will definitely remember it for my next visit!
Restaurant got my order and when I said it was wrong the chef yells at me and tells them to give me my money back. So embarrassing
