Pizza East - Portobello - London

We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation of 6:45 clock. the restaurant was empty for 2 more tables. we ordered garlauchbrot as appetizer and pizza for the net. the pizza came 1 minute after the garlauchbrot (provided as restaurant was so empty). we told the waiter we only got our starter, so we asked to give pizza. the pizza was then completely burned 10 minutes later and hard-rocked when they had put it back in the many times to keep warm. we explained that it was burned to 3 waiters, and they were all rude and dismissed claiming that it was our fault not to clarify that we want our starter as starter. a free dessert was offered, but we just wanted to go and then had another argument when we explained we did not want to pay service fee due to the inedible pizza. the staff was disputed and dismissed - the empty restaurant made a lot of sense!

Great causal neighborhood spot! Always speedy and delicious! Great range of menu items.

The ambiance at this restaurant is truly great - relaxed yet busy. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The food was excellent as well, making for a truly fantastic afternoon out.
