Palmyra - London

Absolutely fabulous food, we will definitely be returning, and soon! We had heard good things about Palmyra so decided to go for our anniversary meal; lovely small restaurant in Kew, attentive service and offers excellent Lebanese wine too.

The Lebanese food at Palmyra is decent but not outstanding. The service had a rough start with a mix-up over water, but improved as the meal went on. We all opted for set menu 2, and while the starters were just okay, the hummus and bread stood out. Despite a limited availability of prawns, the main courses were surprisingly delicious. The prawns were juicy and the lamb was tender and flavorful. Dessert was also a hit with almond and Baileys ice cream and complimentary baklava. Overall, Palmyra is a solid neighborhood restaurant that is convenient for visitors to Kew Gardens and reasonably priced. We paid less than £30 each and left satisfied. Recommended for a decent meal out.

There is not much more I can say except that if you haven't been to this restaurant in the quiet town of Kew, you must go. A huge thank you to George, the owner, who always makes guests feel welcome. Can't wait for our next visit!

What more can I say other than if you have not tried Palmyra then you are missing out. The food is great, as is the service and the staff talk to you as an individual going back again this week.

We love this restaurant, so took some friends who had never been before, they are now converts to the cuisine and will know doubt be going back as will we. Big thank you to all the staff.
