Bidrage med feedbackThe staff at the restaurant were very helpful and attentive. While the small pizzas were good value, most of the other food and drinks were quite expensive. My friends liked their pasta dishes, but they felt that they were lacking in seasoning or chilli oil. The side salads were also pricey and not very appetizing. The mussels were overly salty and lacked flavor from chilli or garlic.
My partner and I stopped by this restaurant on our way to Twickenham Rugby and we were thrilled with our choice. After browsing through other restaurants in the area, we decided on this one due to the enticing menu, reasonable prices, and inviting exterior. The staff was efficient, helpful, and friendly. Even though they were busy, they managed to squeeze us in rather than turning us away. They seated us at a table for 20 minutes between reservations, then moved us to a different available table for the rest of our meal. We were happy to accommodate this instead of waiting around, and we appreciated their effort. The food was incredibly delicious. We started with homemade bread and olives to share, followed by pork sausage pasta and hamsik pizza (which we also shared). The dishes were fresh, bursting with flavor, and authentic. Our bill came to £44, including two soft drinks, which we found to be excellent value for money in London. I highly recommend both the pasta and the pizza. The service was quick and attentive, and we left feeling satisfied and content.
We have been loyal patrons of this restaurant for a long time and have fond memories, particularly from my son's birthday celebration. However, our recent experience for my husband's birthday was disappointing. Despite the outside tables being full, the inside of the restaurant was unusually dim and sparse. The staff appeared hurried, constantly ferrying dishes to the outdoor area. Our main course was delayed by more than 20 minutes, giving us the impression that the indoor seating was being overlooked. Furthermore, there was a constant loud noise coming from the bar area, sounding as if something was being dropped repeatedly. I recall the staff and owner being very welcoming in the past, but this time it felt different. As for the food, it was average in taste, with small servings and lacking the outstanding quality we had enjoyed before. The prices also seemed exorbitant.
I’ve been meaning to dine at this place for ages and as my friend and I fancied Italian we thought we’d give this a go. Inside the place unfortunately smells a bit like an old stale pub that has beer on the floor! It feel a bit grubby. Service was hit and miss where some servers were friendly and accommodating and some just cold and clearly hated their job! Anyway we were here for the food which I must say was great! We had the GAMBERONI ARLECCHINO: to share which was massive butterflied prawns in a lovely buttery sauce. We had half a pizza of Forza Napoli and half of the pasta dish of Cavatelli both perfectly cooked and so nice of the kitchen to split the dish for us. We had the pistachio tiramisu (oragasmic) and mango cheesecake. Food really was amazing. So glad i finally ticked it off my list.
Lovely place in a splendid location.the food was good( bit overpriced though)and the service was attentive but not rushed, and that's what I am looking for when I eat in an Italian restaurant. Thank you guys and see you soon
