It was okay. Very limited menu and zero ambience as it was refurbished, so the area was like a canteen.

Italiano Menu not available as restaurant was closed. Should you not accept lunch bookings for a restaurant that is not open at noon

The restaurant was fantastic, with attentive and friendly staff who happily fulfilled our request for a birthday cake.

Absolutely great customer service, delicious food and the atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful. I asked a little birthday cake for my friend, and they held this a surprise to the end when they bought the most amazing piece of chocolate cake with a candle. Thank you for everything! I will definitely be back and recommend friends.

My wife and I visited London to take in a show as a birthday celebration. I had suggested booking a pre theatre meal and chose la Italiano through open table. The seating was at a table under a huge fern which was ridiculous so I moved it to given me room to eat. My wife’s meal was served with the potato stone cold. We complained but was met with reluctance. I had finished my meal and she did not want to sit eating by herself. We both ordered deserts. My choice was an ice cream my wife a panacotta. I was served one small scoop at the price of £6.00 and my wife was served with a panoctta complete with mouldy raspberries. We we again complained. The management apologised and offered an alternative desert but by now we were out of time and needed to go to avoid being late for the show. The whole experience was disappointing to say the least especially as it was her birthday. She went away hungry and very disappointed I came away angry as they amazed that they had the cheek to apply a service charge. So no we will not be recommending the restaurant to family friends or anyone else for that matter. As to your question below-we will not be recommending this restaurant for any function
