Ginza Onodera - London

Very bad experience. Terrible food. Sukiyaki comes with cold temperature and egg is overcooked. It tastes below the average. I only finished 1/3 and the waiter asked me whether I was too uncomfortable to finish the meal, or I got some stomach problems. Excuse me? I have ordered Chu-toro but turn out to be Akami. And the waiter explained a lot with chicanery and it’s really annoying during dinner time with someone keep talking to me and say nonsense words. I have visited Onedera in Hawaii and LA and the one in London is not the same thing. I will never come back again. Good luck.

A few extra touches made the dining experience memorable

Speak easy setting, good food, some items are a bit pricey but great quality

The first time for me to eat Japanese afternoon tea. But it is not enough for the afternoon tea since most of afternoon tea are refillable except this one. The food is ok, not bad and not special. Compared the food with the price , overpriced! They did not try to fill the tea with best service but I accept the servant are nice with smile.

Sevice and quality exceptiin as always- Currently a reduced menu and dining space but all our favourites still in place. Excellent sake range and assistance of the sommelier always a highlight to visiting.
