Bangers Bar & Grill - London

We were hidden in the corner. Very much a work place for city types of a certain age.

Delicious food and friendly service. Bar area lively, however restaurant area desolate!

Love Bangers. It's still my goto place whenever in the area. £20-30 a head is the normal range. The only thing disappointing was the staff this time. New bald headed chap was surly and didn't offer any condiments, got a little stroppy with the orders, not the usual reception from Bangers which is generally cheerful and on the ball. There were 8 of us but the restaurant wasn't busy. He did seem testy with other staff as well. A blip in an otherwise great set of lunches/dinners.

I was often in bangers bar grill and always enjoyed it. on Friday we sat 15 minutes on the table, before my friend sought a waiter to find a wine list. it wasn't terrible at the time, so there was no excuse. when the food arrived, it was hardly warm so that both main courses were sent back and heated again were not ideal. I just didn't cost it and we were both very disappointed.

A pleasant experience meeting with a business friend for lunch before Christmas. the staff was attentive and polite and eating was delicious. I would like to see a larger part of the cheese, but the house claret was perfectly good and a few glasses from the harbour helped to finish an unforgettable occasion. I will definitely book again. this old fashion restaurant keeps all its former funke.
