Le Galant Bar Restaurant - Lome

Food options are varied and you can get a decent sized, reasonable priced meal here. The pork escalope in particular is very good. They serve beer on draught, which is rare for Lomé. They also show the football on request. The atmosphere has never been buzzing at all, whatever time of day I have been but if you want a quiet meal near the coast in Lome, you can do much worse than here!

Great Pizza and great ambience, sometimes a slow service (like most places in Togo). Take care of the mosquito's as it is an open sitting.

We have eaten there several times. It is reasonably priced, even for an impoted beer of a small carafe of wine. The meat is always a bit tough, but the fresh veggies and chips are good. They should not let vendors come into the restaurant to badger you to buy their wares. It is NOT why you go to a restaurant. Also nice to watch rugby or soccer there on the big screen. A family place.

We stayed here for two nights on our way through Togo. The price is very reasonable. The rooms are very basic and don't have mosquito nets, but the price is super cheap. The cheapest room was 7000cfa with a shared bathroom, and the room we chose with a private bathroom was 9000cfa.The food here is very average, we tried a few different dishes and felt they were all fine. The service is quite unfriendly at times, particularly from the lady who we assume to be the owner, who bordered on hostile occasionally. Our opinion of the hotel went downhill on the last day when we asked if it was possible to get a late check out as our flight to Europe was at 10pm. We wished to use a shower before our flight but were told this wasn't possible. We haven't encountered this anywhere else in the world, especially from such an empty hotel. Eventually we reached an agreement where we paid half the price of a nights accommodation to use a shower thus turning a cheap nights accommodation in to a far more expensive one. Would only really recommend to those on a very tight budget.

Food and service are good at the gallion. Nothing really fancy or unusual, but you will get what you order. Simple menu and a few choice of meat and fish.
