Bidrage med feedbackService was quite average. But food was quite delcious!!! : Prices are pretty good for the portions served. Tea's and rices are separately priced.
The Taiwanese style breakfast is pretty good here and cheap! We ordered the soy milk, congee, dough stick pancake and pork floss pancake. The pancakes were fresh. <br/ <br/ There's lots to choose from for breakfast. I really enjoy the comforting warm liquids and crunchy dough sticks and pancakes. Give it a try I reckon from 7-11am.
Visited this restaurant on the week of the grand opening. Happy to see there is so many varieties of Chinese cuisine arrived in Brisbane. Set-up is nice and did not see any chaotic service as ususally may happen in Chinese restaurants within the first week of opening. The hugh central space reserved for large group of party is good idea to attract family gathering such as Birthday Party. Although foods are not as authentic as what I expected a Hakka style should be, they are tastful and acceptable. I like the promotion of offering a few dishes at a very cheap price as the marketing tool at the first few weeks (they offer one on each day now). I would say it is a local gem and recommend you to make your reservation.
Very tasteful and quick service. This is a Taiwanese restaurant and provide quality food. Clean dinning area and grest Service. Love it. <br/ 上菜快又好吃的台灣菜,份量也足,是全家用餐的好選擇。台灣菜口味較清爽帶點甜味,鹹酥雞便宜份量多,一定要嚐嚐看。
Updated January 2016: came by here again for dinner, surprisingly service was much better this time. Food was excellent and portions were massive. Price vs quality, definitely a good respectable 8/10. Service was quick and will I dine here again? Yes! <br/ <br/ INITIAL REVIEW:Good Food, Bad Service, Poor Practice. Had 5 dishes between my wife I and we were impressed by the quality of each dish. However each dish were slightly higher priced than other surrounding restaurants with slightly smaller portions. Disappointing facts: 1) Service: waitress continuously spoke to us in chinese when we spoke to her in english. When she tried to speak english, she failed and continue to speak to us in chinese. Anyhow, after ordering, no one asked us about drinks... Not even for the entire 1 hr we were there! Luckily we could eat our meals without drinks, but at least someone could had offered us water! 2) Poor Practice: we were served left over rice, it was luke warm and chewy. That confirmed it when we witnessed the waitress tipping the leftover rice from a leaving customer's rice bucket back into the rice cooker. Very bad practice! Overall, although the food was 9/10 but overall experience pulled my scoring down. It would had been 7.5/10 if it wasn't for bad rice... I can only rate this place at best 6/10... Hopefully next time my vote will change.
