Le Presbytere - Loches

A really nice café and restaurant at the end of a charming garden besides the great Romanesque collegial church of Saint-Ours. Good and reliable service (if slightly slow). I highly recommend the place as the location is idyllic. It is also perfectly located halfway between the impressive medieval donjon and the late medieval and early modern royal castle. And take my word for it: you will need a pause between the two visits.

Strongly recommend this place! We ordered plancha, quiche, croque monsieur! The food was very good! Excellent service and amazing place!

Enter small tidy garden through gateway off the street, alongside collegiate church. Choose a shady spot on the cosy balcony with a lovely view. Friendly polite service. Simple and plentiful French food for a reasonable cost. The waffles are delicious!

Awful service. I asked for a lemonade and they brought me some soda in a bottle, nothing to do with a lemonade. I would have appreciated just to be told in advance and let me decide what I wanted. Not to mention that they say their restaurant is opened all day long and when we went for lunch at 15:00 we were told that we can only have desert because the restaurant is opened, but the kitchen is closed. How DOES THIS make any sense, people? Are you really thinking about the people reading your website? When you say restaurant opened means you can eat there, right? Well, it seems not. Restaurant opened and kitchen opened are 2 different things. At least change the description if you don 't want to mislead clients. So my recommendation is to avoid them. They are taking advantage of the idyllic location just to scam the tourists. If you like the spot, there are benches there in the garden where you can only seat.

The previous opinions are unfortunately faithful...the view and the frame are awesome (the evening illumination of the neighboring collegial) instead of saying dishes..bon melon in entrance but served with ham ( vacuum)steak tartare which sums up to a steak vaguely mixed with 2 capers...bref disappointment. 88 euros for 3 , flat entrance . This is not given for a mediocre meal.bref just take a drink for the place service is nice even if you hear the cook grinding.
