Berggasthof Fritsch - Lochau

We found this Gashof via Internet, we booked a room and we were not disappointed. We had chosen a room with a (beautiful) view on the Bodensee. The room was very clean. We had dinner on the terrace, which was full (the restaurant seemed to...be a very popular spot). The staff was very friendly and the quality-price ratio excellent. We found the menu quite varied (with also vegetarian dishes), the food was truly delicious, good quality products, all this in a lovely atmosphere, all guests seemed to enjoy themsleves very much, and so did we! Nice and quiet breakfast with fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereals, different types of breads, cheese and delicatessen. We strongly recommend this restaurant hotel.

This is not a restaurant you would stumble upon driving around Lochau, but we are certainly grateful we did some research on the internet before setting off. Sunday is without doubt their busiest time. Although we had made a reservation outside on the terrace, our...table was not ready, but we were not left unattended and, thanks to the stunning view of Lake Constance (even despite the haze) and a pre lunch drink, we waited patiently for our table. It was well worth the wait! The restaurant clearly caters to big family gatherings and manages it well. The food was excellent fresh, hot and plentiful, despite the busyness of the restaurant and real value for money. The wine list offered a good range of wines (and prices) from the area. The service was excellent and always cheerful! These ladies obviously enjoy their work, but are probably glad when the day is over! I would say the only negative aspect is the parking. They have abundant parking, although with the number of guests they entertain, there just doesn't seem to be enough!

Sehr gute Küche. Freundliches Personal. Sehr schöne Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick über den Bodensee. Tolle geschmackvolle Einrichtung.

Wir kehrten nach einem Ausflug im berggasthof ein und konnten einen kleinen Tisch auf der Terrasse ergattern. Nette Bedienung, die käsesuppe ist sehr zu empfehlen. Der Ausblick ist herrlich, einzig der Blick auf den unterhalb gelegenen engenparkplatz zerstörten etwas die Idylle.Gehobenes Restaurant mit auch etwas gehobenen Preisen.

Ein nettes Restaurant am halben Wege zum Pfänder. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und haben dann doch noch einen Platz auf der Terrasse mit einem herrlichen Blick auf den Bodensee gefunden und ausgezeichnet gegessen.
