Sa Foganaya Sl. - Llucmajor

After waiting 45 minutes with a menu and an empty glass I gave up, clearly overrun and too busy for the poor staff trying to cope. I made sure they knew of my disappointment before I left, they did apologise but that was it.

This place was located just 150 metres from our hotel. As we'd booked half board, we required to source our own lunches which we prefer to full board as it allows us more freedom and choice. This was a really good place which we used frequently over our 11 day holiday, usually after returning from either the beach or Palma City. The food was cheap but of a very good standard, my husband particularly liked the patatas bravas and the nicely spiced sauce they came with. The Cruzcampo beer was served ice cold and the wine nicely chilled. The waitress was a gem and cheerfully took our orders, even remembering my husband's liking for a pint of Cruzcampo each time we returned. She helped my husband with his limited command of the Spanish language too, much amused but pleased he tried to speak it as well ! This place is popular with locals so that tells you a lot. We even saw and chatted to a couple of staff from Los Tres Torres (The Three Towers) bar/restaurant a fair distance from Sa Foganya. If you're staying near this place, we highly recommend you give it a try, you won't be dissappointed but be aware the service is a tad slow but worth it.

We arrived Wednesday night staying round the corner and it was raining and we found this bar and what a find. The staff are brilliant so friendly and the prices good. I would recommend this bar its a corner location so you can have a drink have something to eat and people watch all day.
