Sullivan's - Little Rock

Food was excellent. Can?t go wrong with the Sea Bass and lamb. May be the best lamb we?ve ever eaten. French onion soup was flavorful. Cocktails were fresh. Michael our waiter was very knowledgeable and very attentive. Definitely will be back.

First time eating at Sullivan?s ? and it was wonderful! We had such a great experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Our server, Mike was phenomenal and we will be back. Thank you for such a great experience.

Sunday Supper at Sullivans. We had reservations and had to wait a few minutes for them to seat us. No big deal. We were sat in Tiara 's section (my apologies if the spelling is off). She greeted us warmly, got our drink and app order, and set off tobring a bottle of wine. Service was a tiny bit slow, but the restaurant was pretty busy, and we had time to enjoy our cocktailsand appetizers. The app was the Beef Wellington Bites. Very savory meat in a puff pastry and a great start to the meal. Weskipped salads and ordered the mains. The Mrs is a crab cake nut, so she ordered those and was quite impressed. I tried a bite,and they were packed with crab meat and a few spices and a great balance of flavor. The shredded Brussels sprouts are legit.Great flavor and loaded with real bacon bits. The only hitch in the evening came when the runner dropped my wife 's order andnothing came out for me. We figured she would be back shortly, but she never returned. Almost 10 minutes had passed, and Iencouraged the Mrs to eat during that time, but she felt bad not waiting for me. Finally a different waitress passed by, and weasked her if she could check with the kitchen. Lo and behold, the order never printed in the kitchen because of a softwareerror. My steak arrived late, but with the profuse apologies of each our primary waitress, the passerby, and the manager whocomped the entree off the ticket. Businesses make mistakes. It happens to anyone who owns a business, but how they handle themistake is where they either succeed or fail. I was very pleased with the response, and the steak...I ordered a strip, rare withthe accompaniment of blue cheese and pork belly, and I may never eat another strip the same way again. The pork belly was theperfect compliment to the lean cut of beef. The strip itself was cooked perfectly, succulent, and juicy. My wife and I were gifted a gift card to use at Sullivan's. We were able to make reservation via phone very easily. We asked about dress code, we were told there is a preference but no one is turned away. We arrived at our scheduled time and were seatedalmost instantly. Our server, Victor shout out to him) was AMAZING! He was very attentive, very knowledgeable of the menu andingredients, extra polite, and patient with all our requests. The food came to us in a timely manner. It was very appropriatetemperature. It was good! We ordered a rather sizable amount of food including 2 steaks) and still out tab was less than $200.

Gotta say this was an experience. My wife and me have been to plenty of steakhouses over the years but this one was different. From the moment we walked in the vibe of the place was 10/10. I had noted in the reservation on OpenTable it was a birthday theyhad a card on the table to thank us for dining with them on my wife's birthday so that was an amazing start. Our waiter wasexceptional (will update if my wife remembers his name, I'm horrible w/ em) he explained the menu and gave his recommendations.I ended up getting the Wagyu steak w/ peppercorn sauce and my wife got the crab cakes, we both fell in love in the first bite.I've had alot of steaks in my life but this was up there for sure. The beef wellington starter was also something else, I'venever had beef wellington so this was a good introduction so now I will be asking my wife to find a good recipe for em. Theservice was amazing never went for wanting anything, and they came by periodically to clean the table which was new for me butwelcomed for sure. A really amazing surprise was they came by to take our picture and gave it to us in a custom frame whichmelted my wife's heart. Also their drinks are solid too, got the Moscow Mule....so good I got it a second time. Pretty much fromstart to finish it was an exceptional steakhouse and I can't wait to come back soon.
