Soul Fish Café - Little Rock

My man and I had a wonderful lunch experience yesterday. we sat fast and were waited by michael. I chose the fried cats, and my man chose the fried cats. we were all very satisfied with our eating. the riders were amazing! if the riders can stand without ketchup alone, it is a win! the catfish was tasteful and fluffy, and the portions were abundant! michael was attentive and friendly! we're coming back!

SoulFish Cafe proved its excellence for lunch once again. I tried the smoked chicken for the first time. It was so well spiced and flavorful. I got the Mac n Cheese as an extra side. That was a delightful cheesy treat for me. Thank you for the great, yummy food. I will definitely be coming back. 

Stop by in Little Rock for lunch. Loved the concept. We had perfectly fried green tomatoes (seasonal) and blackened catfish with a side of cucumber salad fries. Everything was delicious but imo the cucumber salad stole the show. Great service. I'm sad i don't live closer to this place....!

So this is my first restaurant stop in Little Rock. For the appetizer I had the catfish dip. This is served cold but I really think that it would be much better if it were warm or hot. For the entree I had the catfish plate and I chose the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were just okay but if I'm being honest who really comes to a restaurant like this to have mashed potatoes? The mac and cheese however was a pleasant surprise super creamy and cheesy and I could have had a double order! The catfish was fixed perfectly! Very fluffy, obviously fresh and the breading was amazing with awesome flavor. You don't need any hot sauce or tartar sauce. And like I always say if you have to put that on your fish you should be hit in the head with a tack hammer because something's wrong with the fish if you have to cover it up with sauce. The service was awesome and they are very attentive. The restaurant is clean and has a very relaxed atmosphere.

The food was delicious and a large portion. There are plenty of sides to choose from. I had the catfish platter with fried okra cucumber salad. The dining area and was very cute they had great music on the patio. The servers were very friendly quick!
