This place has the best soul food I had in the nine years that I lived here in Georgia hands down!! You have to try it with speed. I had almost everything on the menu and I can't say anything about having been there at any time. I must say I tried almost everything on the menu and it was all absolutely delicious! It reminds me that my grandmother cooks at home when I was a child.

Taste of home. A friend of mine recommended this place and I had seen him pass several times. One day I moved in and had a bite. OMG, if you don't want to be attached, don't go! My food was so good I took an extra dish home for my brother, but seriously considered it to hold for me! I had the smeared pork over rice (better than my own mothers) green, maize bread and maize cheese. It was all perfection!! I'm a normal as my brother!!

A diamond in the rough. The exterior and the location of Annie Mae's does not disappear, which is inside. That's really good food. I was just trying to be disappointed from curiosity. You get a meat and two vegetables and bread. Drinks are extra. The total amount is below $9.00. You get a lot of meat and it is good and delicate. The vegetables are prepared by someone who knows what they are doing. My g/f has really shaved over the Mac and the cheese, so I have to go back and try it and the tasty looking meat lamb. It was disappointed that they were closed on Valentine's Day. Please try. Good food like this needs our support.

I am from Delaware and I love southern food. I googled this establishment and drove over after reading the reviews. I enjoyed 90% of the food! Meatloaf is good if you like it somewhat sweet. Yams were yummy! Greens/cabbage mix was good if you are into sweet veggies. Smothered chops were good and that fried chicken??? Mmm hmmm!!! Crispy, cooked to order, seasoned well!!! Green beans had a sweet taste but were good. Black-eyed peas were savory. Mac-n-cheese? I was not a fan. I have not had any mac-n-cheese in Atlanta and surrounding areas that tasted like I like it. It will have a lot of cheese but no real flavor. That southern sweet tea was on point if you love diabetes in a cup like I do!!! The staff were very sweet and hospitable!! I am headed back for banana pudding!!
