Lake View Restaurant And Bar At Colliford Tavern

Nice rooms, lots of dust but clean bedding and bathroom, comfortable beds. very cold room only had a small oil heater and bathroom freezing. Not much choice for drinks and all cans sold were £2.50 and said not to be sold separately! The food was really nice but lack of choice (sold out). The restaurant was really cold, no heating on. Lovely area and views. Main door to rooms also had to be left open all night as couldn't be opened with our keys (could lock bedroom door) cheap overnight stay but wouldn't wsnt to be there longer in winter.

The manager was extremely helpful and friendly, providing polite service. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. The rooms were neat and clean. When hot water was not available, he gave us an extra room for free to use. The food was very good and tasty. Overall, I would rate the rooms, service, and location a perfect 5. The hotel has great highlights, including a beautiful view, being kid-friendly, and offering great value.

This was our first time camping, when we arrived everyone was friendly the staff were nice. The facilities are kept clean, the bar is open every night, doesnt do all spirits but quite a few and a nice beer. The prices are cheap and the chips are nice! Its lovely being on the Bodmin Moor with so many view points nearby. Shower was a little cooler than i like but still warm enough to shower in Nearby activities: Golitha falls Hotel highlights: Quiet

Don’t bother, half of the food was not available. The chap said they had a busy service the day before (which would have been a Sunday) not convinced! The chap didn’t tell us that half of the menu was off prior to us ordering. Not a very good vibe as we went into the restaurant, went to Jamaican Inn instead which was 100% better.
