Bidrage med feedbackThis chippy used to be one of the best in Lisburn but sadly I can not say that now. We ordered a takeaway last night and the chips are not like they use to be or the portion size. Very hard thick chips and very small portion. Now I had found this over the past couple of weeks but gave them the benefit of the doubt because they used to be excellent but to be honest after last night it's a No from me and a No from him. Sorry Taste'A and we were regular customers every Friday night.
Awesome Gravy chip hadn’t had one in years and was visiting NI to see family, great clean professionally run place.
Handy parking and good location on the edge of town. Perfect to pick something up on way home. Fairly big menu. Good choice of sauces for over chips, including sweet curry sauce which is rare and excellent. Good build a burger menu with lots of stuff to add like onion rings, pickles, taco mince..... THEY HAVE A VEGAN MENU. We have a vegan friend who has very limited choice but the Taste A do have options and fry everything in a healthier vegetable fat instead of beef dripping. They also have the odd vegan item and as far as I could tell, it was all cooked separate from the meaty stuff. Good quality ingredients and it is well cooked. Would be our first choice of chip shop, and there are many, for a good distance.
Stopped at the chemist as we were hungry we decided to have a sausage supper . I couldn’t have been more surprised if I’d be hit on the head by a wet fish. They were absolutely fantastic. Chips were light crisp on the outside fluffy soft on the inside. I’m almost drooling thinking about them. Now my wife isn’t the biggest fan of sausages but she ate both mine had to get another portion. We have since tried their food on a few different occasions every time they are delicious. They are definitely worth traveling for.
Loved this place great crispy and dry fresh food and great customer service
