My recent experience with an Indian takeout establishment was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. From start to finish, it was a disappointing ordeal that left me questioning the reputation of Indian cuisine as a whole. Let's begin with the ordering process. The online menu was a mess, with inaccurate descriptions and missing items. It took me an eternity to navigate through the poorly designed website and place my order. It was a frustrating start to what would turn out to be an even more frustrating dining experience. When the food finally arrived, I was greeted with a collection of sad-looking containers that lacked any semblance of appeal. The presentation was nonexistent, with the dishes looking like a jumbled mess of unappetizing slop. It was a visual disappointment that didn't bode well for the taste. And speaking of taste, or lack thereof, I cannot express my disappointment enough. The flavors were bland and one-dimensional, as if the spices had been forgotten altogether. The curries lacked depth and complexity, leaving me wondering if they had used any spices at all. The naan bread was dry and flavorless, resembling cardboard more than a beloved Indian staple. It was a complete betrayal of my taste buds. To add insult to injury, the portions were minuscule. The prices were inflated for what felt like half-hearted servings that left me hungry and unsatisfied. It was a blatant attempt to squeeze as much money as possible out of unsuspecting customers without delivering on quality or quantity. Customer service was equally appalling. When I called to express my disappointment, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of concern. The staff showed no interest in addressing my concerns or making amends. It was clear that they prioritized profit over customer satisfaction. In conclusion, this Indian takeout experience was a dismal failure. From the disappointing flavors and lackluster presentation to the stingy portions and abysmal customer service, there was not a single redeeming quality to salvage the meal. I would caution anyone considering ordering from this establishment to think twice and explore other options for a truly satisfying Indian culinary experience. Don't let this tasteless tragedy ruin your perception of Indian cuisine. Service: Take out Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
