Fado Wine - Lisbon

The best place to drink Local Wine and Tapas. Lovely staff and the best wines I ever had. I am not a white wine person but after trying that Gloria Reynolds from Alentejo. I changed my mind !

I made reservations after reading an online review regarding how quaint the atmosphere, how delicious the food, and about live Fado music. The food was delicious, priced well; not too expensive. We were greeted warmly. Our table was definitely quiet and quaint. There was no one in restaurant at 8pm. Everyone else was outside. Our inside, reserved table was very small. Seats very uncomfortable, no backs, and tiny. I thought I could lean on the wall for my back, but it was loosely stacked wine crates. No leaning! Fado music was only on the overhead speakers, playing pleasantly low for our conversation. I liked this restaurant and could recommend for anyone wanting good food, but eat outside. The tables are much better and so are the chairs.

Date night after a long day round Lisbon in the rain. The food was fabulous and the wine choice was really good.

There is no live Fado here which is what we would’ve wanted but we should’ve done some more reading into it. Nice restaurant overall but would not recommend specifically for Fado in Lisbon
