Mabiche Pizza Baixa - Lisboa

I went here based on the reviews, but it seems I went to the wrong Mabiche. This place was gross. It was empty. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it came out ten minutes later. Not a great sign for pizza. It tasted like a frozen pizza warmed up.

We absolutely loved this little pizza place. It's not much more than a few tables, but exudes warmth and charm. The menu is super stripped down, just pizza and salads, but don't let that fool you. This is the best kind of Italian. The margarita was exactly as it should be, with a chewy base that didn't get wet and lose its crispness. The burrata salad was sublime, perfectly balanced and divinely moreish. We only had a week in Lisbon, but we went back and ordered the same thing a second time, something we never do. Fantastic.

Staff are very helpful and will point out which pizzas are vegan or could be made vegan.

Clearly marked vegan options, friendly staff. Had 2 slices, mushroom and cherry tomatoes. Both tasty. Only has 5 seats, more of a take away place.

Came past to get something to eat for lunch. Lots of vegan options. Had the mushroom pizza by the slice. Absolutely delicious. Full of flavour. The slices are generous.
