La Puttana - Lisboa

I had spotted this place on my first night in Lisbon but wasn't in the mood for pizza at that point. I'm glad I remembered it and tried it I ended up having some of the best pizza I've ever had. The wood fired oven (and the chef) produced a wonderful treat amazingly fresh basil and mushrooms combined with a great crust. The homemade lemonade was also a nice treat.

Small space but delicious pizza and quick service. It was a little bit dark inside, and I didn't love the seating options. Prices were good and the food was worth it. The crust was particularly excellent.

We were excited for pizza after a couple weeks of more typical Portuguese cuisine and La Puttana delivered! True Neapolitan style pies and a great bottle of Lambrusco. The vegan pie was great as were the margheritas. Open air indoor seating felt very covid safe.
