Argentinisches Steakhaus - Lippstadt

We have been visiting with some colleagues and have been very happy with the service, the great meat and the location.

My wife and I had dinner here at this restaurant today with our German family. We are visiting from the states. We sat in the back room, which looks like a brick wine cellar. The steaks here are delicious, however the waitress is inattentive. She...messed up many aspects of the order. Fortunately, the food is very good regardless. My entire family speaks German, so there was no communication barrier to blame for the order mistakes. The errors included, a starter dish never coming out, a salad served with beans when it was ordered without beans, steak well done when ordered medium. Actually, none of the steaks were cooked as ordered. No offer for second round of drinks until it was time for the check. The food was very delicious. We ordered the steak with mushroom cream sauce and the steak with onion. The steaks had lots of flavor and the salad was so fresh and tasty. The restaurant was clean, except for the bathroom don't use the bathroom). Better than steaks in the states! Get a good waiter or waitress to make she service where it should be for 20.00/plate steak dishes and all will be perfect! I recommend you go early, like 1730 or 1800, because restaurant started to fill up at 1930-2000. We had a great time with our family and that was most important!

At the first time I went there was very excellent. The food is very very giving me such a lovely first impression (I ordered 200g Rib-eye argentinische steak). I speak English, the waiter don't talk to much but ask me a lot of questions like...about the sauce, side dish and the maturity level. I was really in love and I take my friend there the next chance but I was disappointed. the waiter was ignorant, he wasn't ask for the maturity lever so the steak was really hard the taste isn't as good as the previous although I ordered the same (I ordered for 400g for this). so, It was okay for me but I don't think i'll back again.

We were impressed with how they care about the quality of the meat they serve here. We've ordered the same dish (lomo in salt) so we can't talk over the quality of all the other dishes served there. But we can for sure say that...this was the most tender steak we've ever eaten on a steakhouse so far. Perhaps the preparation method plays a part in it (it was not grilled but baked in the oven under a layer of salt instead), but it almost melted in our mouths, and it was served medium rare. It came with nice baked potatoes with rosemary and a rocket and cherry tomatoes with parmigiano side salad. Simple but perfect. Both dishes, drinks and dessert costed us something under €80, so not a budget choice, but I'd rather say a fair price, considering the high quality Argentinian meat served.

Smooth service, delicious (red, Argentine) wine and delicate steaks, short: a pleasant evening. atmospheric ambiente. if they are in (near) lippstadt, this restaurant is definitely recommended!
