Alta Marea Lipari

After baking on the beach all afternoon, we wandered through the streets of Lipari town looking for a nice place for a light dinner. We found a nice outdoor patio on the piazza by marina Lunga, on the south side of the citadel. Alta Maria has a good selection of sandwiches and Italian dishes. I had the lasagna and red wine, and my wife had a prosciutto panini and Coke. Very good and a beautiful setting for a quiet evening.

Me and my family visit Alta Marea at 16 of august on our trip to Salina, Volcano and Lipari. We drink nice espresso, cold drinks and gelato. The prices was cheap. The view to the fortress and the harbor make this place nice spot for a drink. Recomendet !!!!

Nice spot, but food very lacking and not as menu described. Just order a drink if your thirsty and possible some bruschetta then move to a better restaurant for some real local food. The benefit was only the free wifi!
