Casa Italiana - Linz Stadt

Visiting the city of Linz wasn't such a great experience, but our two visits to this lovely restaurant made everything so much better! Such great Italian food and friendly people in a restaurant situated in a quiet street in the city centre

We stopped by with the family and were completely satisfied. very nice and attentive staff. fresh food and quality service. a piece of real Italy in Linz. we would love to come back!

Wow. What a culinary delight this was, and a great surprise to us to find such Italian quality and consistency in Linz. We went here on recommendation and reviews from Trip Advisor actually, although I'm always a bit suspect of just going by such referrals, but we were blown away by the quality and service. I had the spaghetti vongole and my husband had the ravioli with chicken and mushrooms and we were both in food heaven. We accompanied it with Southern Italy wine called Primitivo Di Manduria Terri del Sud which was a delicious red from Puglia. We will be back for sure and would highly recommend it. Oh and the service was typically Italian style warmth and humour. Loved it.

My hotel booked a table for me and I was graciously welcomed. The decor is elegant trendy amd I dined at a bar-like table with a high-ish chair, comfortable. The Italian-speaking waitors and maitre D were very friendly and welcoming, of good counsel. I started with the Antipasto Misto (freshly grilled vegetables and succulent salami and San Daniel prosciutto), then continued with black truffle tagliolini, a fantastic dish. I asked for a wine recommendation and was not disappointed with a Merlot red more . A thoroughly gastronomic evening! I can 't wait to return!

Cozy atmosphere, authentic food, rather pricy but definitely not exceeding a fair price/quality ratio. The food was amazing. You could really tell they were Italians. Con: took a long time until we got the food. Overall 9/10
