Expensive but good and fresh. Helpful staff will pack on ice. I asked what the best and freshest seafood was and they steered to to some wonderful Chinook salmon. Well worth the price

I 've been stopping at BB for 20yrs , spent lots of money there and always loved the smoked salmon, dip, crab, etc. Went there yesterday, paid $20 for a piece of SS. I woke up in the middle of the night craving some and took 2 bites and couldn 't stomach any more. It 's incredibly dry even though I wanted the wet salmon they have options, dry, med, wet). The gal at the counter did say all they had was the medium moisture but damn this piece is so overcooked smoked) and DRY I felt like I was choking trying to swallow it. I can also see several fish parasites in the meat which can totally happen with fish, but it 's really gross to see it like that and I expect better from BB based on past experiences. I 'll prob be throwing the whole piece away because I just can 't stomach anymore of it. $20 down the toilet for 2 incredibly dry, nasty bites of salmon. Also, in the past the smoke flavor was always very natural like real smoke flavor, this time around it tastes STRONGLY of liquid smoke, so overpowering it made me feel sick and the taste has lingered in my mouth for hours, even after chugging water and brushing my teeth... super disappointing the quality has gone down so much :

I can't say enough about the gorgeous crab and smoked salmon we purchased at Barnacle Bill's. The friendly service, the price and the seafood all get gold stars. We loved shopping at this open stand, and truly appreciated having the crab cleaned and prepped, and packed on ice. It's made for a lovely holiday memory.

Love this place! Can't wait to come back, strongly recommend, I bought fresh oysters Rock fish for ceviche. Strongly recommend!

Bought fresh crab for $7.99/lb! The smoked salmon smelled amazing...will try next time! The staff are very helpful and fast.
