Maxamillion P. provided excellent service and made our dining experience feel special from beginning to end. The atmosphere was intimate and modern, with subtle music and great acoustics that allowed for quiet conversations. The staff were polite and attentive, and the management clearly maintained high standards. The Spinach Artichoke dip, Side Caesar, Seafood Bisque, house-made focaccia, and trio of butters were all delicious. The 14oz Del Monico Ribeye was cooked perfectly and incredibly tender, while the shrimp, asparagus, and creamy horseradish were also excellent. The Cottage Pie was dense and flavorful, with perfectly browned mash on top. Our first visit to this restaurant was highly enjoyable, and we will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you!
I never imagined I would leave a negative review for the Venue, but after our experience at their Easter Brunch, they have definitely earned a single star. Despite having a reservation for 2:00, we were not seated until around 2:10, which was not a big deal. However, it took a while for us to receive water and drinks before we could finally visit the buffet. To our disappointment, half of the dishes were empty and the food that was available was cold. It was clear that the Venue had no intention of replenishing the food as they were likely waiting for the late reservations to finish the remaining scraps. We are hesitant to return to this establishment in the future.
The wait staff was very pleasant, but they should really write down orders. They had to come back three times to get our order right and even forgot one of the appetizers altogether. However, they did remove it from the bill, which was a nice gesture. Despite the mix-up, the meal itself was delicious. I highly recommend the Hungarian wild mushroom soup - it was worth every tasty bite. The fettuccine masala, turkey ciabatta with apple slices, and hazelnut roasted brussels sprouts were all amazing. Overall, I would give it four stars and definitely plan to return.
Went to dinner tonight. Our server, Kat, was amazing. She talked with us, answered our questions about the menu happily, listened to my son while he spewed off 100 facts. I saw her do this with other tables nearby. Had never been to Venue before this, but will definitely be back because of the great food and friendly staff.
I wish I could give them more stars as most of the time they do a great job. Tonight, however, they were off their game. I ordered a pork ribeye and it came out very undercooked. I sent it back and it came back very pink. I don't think it hit the minimum temp for pork. I did not eat it. My wife's pork chop was great though. They did get that right. However, her barrel aged Manhattan didn't come with a cherry. I can only upgrade my one star to a two star. The wait staff though, was great.
