Bidrage med feedbackGood stuff here but frantically busy so not a peaceful place. If you want hustle and bustle then it's for you.
I see a lot of critical reviews from the English. Clearly if you are not able to speak at least some French you should not go to a restaurant in France. This is mainly a restaurant for French office workers, and will be packed especially during lunchtime. I have eaten here for many years. The food is excellent and not expensive. Where else can you see your pizza being cooked in a wood-fired oven? As with any restaurant, the staff are not going to like arrogant diners who believe that speaking English slowly and loudly will somehow break the language barrier. Many of the staff speak excellent English, and if you bother to learn just one sentence of French they will allocate one to you. Ignore the moaners, this is a brilliant restaurant. ENJOY!
On a stopover on our England to Spain trip, my partner and I visited this restaurant, which at the time was quite full, my partner had the Lasagne, and I had a Pizza,my partner who is quite fussy with food, being an excellent cook herself, enjoyed the Lasagne, and I really enjoyed the Pizza, which was cooked in an open log fire oven, one of the best I have tasted, I agree with other comments about some of the staff, but you are in France, myself it’s the food I went to this restaurant for, and to both of us it was very nice
Our French is limited as is the staffs English. But everywhere else we have been we managed. Staff appeared to unhelpful. The pizza was average and the Spag Bolognese had no tomato in whatsoever, this maybe a French thing. Wouldn't go back.
Wide range of food good selection on the menu. Nice surroundings helpful service. Will visit again family friendly resturant.
