The Locke - Limerick

The best fish and chips I have ever had! I eat a mostly vegan diet and don't normally eat fish anymore. However, I really wanted to have fish and chips in Ireland, so I ordered it here. I will probably never eat fish again unless I go back to The Locke. Good service, and there was live music and a dancer. An enjoyable experience overall.

Service was good, just tough seating…had butternut squash soup, it was ok, need to add some Sherry. Nothing special of a place.

Attended the Locke for a meal as a large group. The meal was wonderful. Excellent food variety and the price was reasonable. The service to the tables was really impressive. I am a huge fan of the venue and attend regularly but on this occasion I was very disappointed with the staff behind the bar. There were many of them but they appeared disorganised and lacking oversight from senior staff. We waited too long to order drinks at the bar and when we finally received the attention of the barman ignored the females who were placing the order and kept trying to take our order from the male members of our group. Disappointing.

Have breakfast at morning. I have my see food chowder with brown bread. So enjoyed. Thanks so much.was seething outside, enjoying river views.

Awesome place, you can opt to sit and eat or drink outside its gorgeous on a sunny day!! Always super busy but food and service was always super good! I recommend this pub to anyone visiting limerick, the Irish tap dancing and live music really adds a nice touch to the experience
