Bidrage med feedbackWanting a restaurant before leaving at the cremailer, we stopped at the Bocal. The map seemed rather attractive though the rates were a little high. We arrived at 9:15, the Resto was almost empty...not necessarily a good sign! We decide to take drinks and only a dish. Our choices are on a beef pavement, a rednet net and a Welsh. The service was a little long...and a dish came cold...the reddish net and its purée duo where we always look for the second ingredient of the purée...the served portions are reasonable but the price seems a little high for what we eat. For 19 euros a dish, you can have a dessert dish in the old Lille!
In view of other comments it is clearly a bad experience for me! We went there a noon with colleagues, long and incomplete service, I didn't get what I asked and meat not cooked and almost cold. A colleague had to return is cold dishes as well. And yet there was no big world... I still want to make it clear that the server makes me bring a second plate (cooked and good accompaniment this time) Personally I won't go back.
Just next to the Saint savior station, reception and service really excellent, decor and very nice frames, delicious home cooking (the welsh is a real slaughter), and the addition is quite suitable for the quality of the dishes and the service. I'll be back without hesitation in this place. Thanks to the team!
Very good discovery one night when we went to drink a drink in Saint Savior a friend and we had a little hunger. (Woefully the yelp app is there! The menu is very varied with salads, burgers but also classics and northern dishes. I've chosen a piater with a thai knife, great, full of ginger and sesame! The fries were delicious! The quantities are important, a dish is enough for us. Only small flat, the service that is a little long.
We took a dish of the day: calf sauce calf. Delicate and well-stocked plate. The service was beautiful, natural. The restaurant bar is decorated with bugatti paintings, just like the map. But it did not seem that this subject is exploited in one way or another in the proposed dishes. On the other hand, they had not very stored, the dessert card was reduced because several of them were missing, just like beers. Positive experience in any case.
