The Treehouse Bar Restaurant - Lifford

The Tree House is an absolute treat. Really gorgeous interior and the staff are fantastic too. There was a good selection of gf options on the menu which were clearly marked with allergens (gluten marked with an 8 and staff were knowledgeable about cross contamination. Gf things are cooked in a dedicated fryer. I went for the garlic chilli king prawns to start followed by the fish chips. The fish was so fresh and the batter was crispy (not soggy like normal gf batter can be! . I was absolutely mortified when I accidentally doused my main course in malt vinegar without thinking. The staff were so lovely and got me a fresh meal. Nothing was too much bother for them. They also have a nice selection of desserts, coffees and teas. Definitely worth a visit if you are staying out this direction!
