Bistro N'home Hors Chateau - Liege

I returned to this restaurant after several years, this time with my companion who was experiencing it for the first time. The staff greeted us warmly and allowed us to choose our table. We opted for the 4-course menu. The small lobster with sauce was a delicious start, although I found the sauce more similar to teriyaki than balsamic. The terrine with a sweet sauce was delightful. For our cold appetizers, I enjoyed the Black Task tartare while my companion had the Tuscan carpaccio. Both dishes were good, but we preferred the refreshing carpaccio. The tartare was well done but lacked a bit of flavor. Our hot appetizers were open ravioli and calf risquette. The ravioli was nicely presented but a bit difficult to eat with a fork and knife. The calf risquette was flavorful but slightly salty. Both the crown of lamb and tagliata were perfectly cooked and tender. The potatoes and vegetables were cooked to perfection, with crunchy beans. For dessert, we tried the tiramisu and strawberry salad. The tiramisu had a strong biscuit flavor, while the strawberry salad was refreshing despite not meeting expectations. I had a coffee liquor for a digestif, which was surprisingly soft despite its alcohol content. The service from the waiter was excellent, considering he was alone all night. Overall, a great place that we will definitely return to in the future.

This restaurant is top-notch in terms of quality. Kudos to the two-person kitchen team, whose work is visible from the dining area. The portion sizes are generous, so you won't leave here feeling hungry after having an appetizer and main course. My only complaint is the close proximity of the tables and the wait time for service. It would be helpful to have an additional staff member or remove a few tables for better flow. Despite this, the food was excellent. Thank you. Note: They have a great selection of Italian wines.

This is our second visit to this restaurant and it definitely won't be our last! Everything was absolutely perfect. The service, friendliness, ambiance, and dishes were all fantastic. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, and the wine selection was excellent. I can't wait to return. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The staff of the "Bistro n'Home Hors Château" is very kind, attentive, friendly and smiling. The kitchen is refined, beautifully presented and full of taste with a perfect seasoning, the proposed met-vins agreement is just perfect. Thank you very much for this great evening.

Great discovery. The room staff is adorable, the delicious and quality cuisine and the so generous portions that after 2 input and a dish we never knew to take a dessert (dommage lol they looked succulent). Thank you so much for the beautiful evening we spent at your house. Back several months after and always the same pleasure. Home, dishes and wine agreement. A delight.
