El Callejero Foodtruck - Liberia

The restaurant may not appear impressive from the outside, but it features a lovely terrace and food truck atmosphere inside. I enjoyed a steak and burger topped with shrimp, along with two drinks, for a total of $27 for the two of us to dine.

What a hidden gem! Behind a small shop front lies a cool inner and outer courtyard. The ribs were falling off the bone and the burger was top-notch. This is the perfect spot for a group or family outing.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with Texas-style BBQ. I enjoyed the short ribs and runner salad, both of which were delicious. The Viejo Verde drink was very sweet and tasted like candy, which wasn't quite to my liking. Other than that, everything was great.

I loved it here! Great vibes and staff really seem to care. I had the Asian salad. The chicken was bomb, everything was really fresh, and the 'ninja' dressing was a better version of the ginger Sesam Sushi Restaurant Dressing. We also had an Empress and a Pepiada maracuya (passion fruit made at home drink). The Pepiada was fantastic and less sweet than I was anticipating (a good thing). 9,000 colonies in total very reasonable, especially with the high quality of the product and experience. Very recommended. The heavier meat dishes that ordered people near us also looked damp af, but were more food than I could treat at that time.

Hefty portions, delicious food and inexpensive. We loved the ambience and as more patrons arrived it definitely confirmed that this is an ideal establishment for a date night. Though our Spanish was basic, the staff was friendly and welcoming at our attempt of the language. Cleanliness was great! Hand sanitizer and hand washing station was available!
