Sushi Blue - Lexington

I was fooled by the reviews into trying this place out. The food was ok, we did like the Corona roll that has the lime on top that was different. It wasn't so much the food but the prices and service. Definitely way too overpriced for the area, this aint Miami or New York even for sushi. Our server seemed underpaid and overworked. He was polite but lacking any energy or enthusiasm. This place needs a shot of energy and find a way to lower the prices by at least 2 dollars a roll and maybe well be back.

I was not impressed! Over rated, and over priced!During my order with the server, I was offered to have my rolls deep fried, I agreed without knowing that each one would cost me $3 more! After bringing it up with the manager, his response was sorry, there 's nothing we can do . We all ordered calamari.. that was the biggest joke and regret! For $10.99 we received 5 deep fried, breaded rings on some foam pasta! I wasn 't sure if I should cry or laugh.. we all spent nearly $200 for a total of 8 rolls and not a dollar was compensated for not being up front with us.. it appeared to me that the manager found it humorous when I asked for compensation.. I will not go there again!

Had a great meal and super service. Jaden, our server was fun expedient. He was great at recommending appetizers and main dishes as well as drinks.Food: 5/5

Let's start with the good: usually great fish compared to the cheaper places, reasonable prices, nice selection.On the bad: the racist white male wait staff. When one walks into a place, even when busy, you don't expect to be avoided like the plague, the whole reason the one girl server, who took the time to acknowledge people at the wait to be seated sign, got a 50% tip on a to go order. This will impact my potential for ordering here again.
