Oscar Diggs - Lexington

Great burgers! Had an All American burger and the burger was actually seasoned and had taste! You MUST try this place!

Well first off the girl at the front wasn’t familiar with the menu. And I paid over $40 for two burgers and they were about the size of a cheese burger from McDonald’s more bread then anything. This place is way overpriced and not good. I wish I would have went to McDonald’s. Enjoy my money bc I won’t be back!

The gentleman working front of house tonight was very overwhelmed you could hear it in his voice- but he was doing a great job. With a Kentucky game downtown at 9pm, you would have thought he wouldn’t have been alone at 7pm, but I understand the employment situation most places are struggling with these days. He kept drinks flowing, food coming out of the kitchen, and tables bussed all by himself. Not sure of his name, but Kudos to him. Please pass on the accolades to him.

Order a mushroom swiss burger, fries and a beer. I had mine cooked rare. One of the top 5 burgers in Lexington.

Service was incredibly disappointing. I've been here a few times before and know the drill but when we walked in, the bartender/server told us to take a seat. When no one came over to us we got up to ask if we were still supposed to order at the window. The redheaded server was short, cold and acted like everything we asked was an inconvenience and had an absolute attitude. No one checked on us throughout the meal and even though there was only a handful of people in the restaurant we were made to feel like our presence was intolerable. Also, $30 for a grilled cheese, burger and 2 small sodas is a bit much. The grilled cheese was burnt and the cheese on the burger was still cold, firm and unmelted. I've spent a good amount of time (years) as a server, manager and bartender and even on a bad day wouldn't dream of treating my customers that way. Oscar Diggs has got to do better. The aloof, hipster vibe has got to go.
