El Rancho Viejo Méxican - Lexington

We go here about twice a month and we love the food and the atmosphere. Our problems are with the service. Over the past few visits we have either not ever gotten refills our kids food wasn't put in and it gets old. The latest problem was on Thursday the 25th about 3 o'clock we walk in and the server sets down the menus on a table and says you can sit here no problems for us until the table was dirty but things happen honest mistakes then we order my food wasn't brought out correctly then when I said something about it the waitress gave me a horrible attitude then sat at the table by the cash register on her phone instead of checking on us and giving us a refill. I hope the managers will correct this we love going there and hope that a little but more training will be done.

Did not dissapoint. Exactly what we were looking for.

Waited too long for the bill and then had to wait and wait to pay. Food was good and filling.

We had street tacos steak) and Jalisco, Tostadas and salsa, plus Tamarind and Pineapple Jarritos, all very good, especially Jalisco I ate it with a bit of juice from lime and salsa). We sat on the patio, loved the fresh breeze, and our waitress was really nice too. Gracias ?

I am traveling across the country looking for a place with something other than fast food. I called for a pick up order. I even tipped just shy of 50% The food was horrible. A chimichanga isn't soft! At least no where in the country but this place. Salsa is like ketchup. Nachos were soggy. I spent just shy of $30 to NOT eat after 9 hours of nonstop driving. Taco Bell would have seemed like a 5 star establishment after my encounter here. I paid cash so there's no way for me to even get my money back!!! And I was only passing through. No wonder why the place was empty. I should have seen that as a Red flag!
