Ramen Izakaya Akira - Lewisville

This is not kid friendly place. They hate kids.. The family next to us was family of 4, and the baby started crying. The parents did all they could, the mom even took the baby outside. We were eating right next to them, and it didn 't bother us at all, the baby was not that loud. But the waitress came and threatened them to leave. It was so uncomfortable for us. I would understand if it was dinner time, but it was a weekend lunch time. Please don 't call this place Real Japanese ramen house . Because as Japanese, we are not that rude.

Me and my girlfriend wanna come to try couple times but they closed on Monday and Tuesday. Very nice place real Japanese Ramen. Highly recommended.

This ramen restaurant is highly recommended. The food and service atmosphere were both good. The only thing that was disappointing was that the food was a bit salty for my taste.

Ordered Spicy Garlic Pork Shio Broth Ramen for takeout and couldn’t wait to get home. Instantly opened the package outside, tried the broth and you guys, I am not lying when I say the aromas hit you in the nose and the flavor was rich, umami and well balanced. I live out in Murphy and drove out just to try this place. Chef was gracious enough and sent me home with a fried chicken curry dish that I am excited to have for lunch tomorrow. 10/10 would make the drive just for ramen again!!
