Bidrage med feedbackI must say, for being such an old motel, this place is very clean and dynamic. There's an indoor pool (closed currently but a great addition). The water pressure in the shower is great. The rooms have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. There are lots of places to eat, a coffee shop, and Albertsons within walking distance. Plus there's a restaurant at the Inn but I didn't have time to try it... Heard it's got good food though. I asked for more soap and they gave me an entire standard bar. The front desk clerks are super friendly. I would definitely stay here again.Rooms: CleanSafety: Police department is a couple blocks awayWalkability: Many eateries nearby and some sight seeing of the court house, churches, etc.
No elevator, but rooms on the second floor. My room had a window facing a lighted hallway so I had light shining all night. One ice machine for this entire large hotel. Ridiculous. On positive side, room was spacious and clean. Bathroom could use some updating. Also some brats running up and down hallway at 2 :30 AM woke me up. Parents get a clue and quit indulging your out of control brats.
The bed literally made me cry because it hurt my back so much. I got about 3 hours of sleep, and then suffered all the rest of the night. This place is billed as “historic” and the “best hotel in Lewistown,” with internet photos that are probably 20 years old. It’s not “historic,” it’s run-down and badly in need of repairs and upkeep. The pool in the pictures on the internet sits empty, and the pool courtyard is dark. The rooms have a musty stench. The overall atmosphere is “haunted hotel from a horror film.”Not to mention the disability accommodations are horribly inadequate, since the bathrooms are completely inaccessible, and they tried to charge my clients $45 for a one-hour late checkout, which we asked for at booking, to accommodate the amount of time it takes to dress someone else, toilet them in an inaccessible bathroom (which involves carrying someone else across the room), and feed them, while also readying oneself, time that every other hotel we stayed in on this trip (or any other trip for that matter) happily accommodated as a matter of simple courtesy for a disabled patron. The charge was never mentioned at the time of booking or any time prior to checking in.Frankly, I will never book here again, and I feel the need to warn off other travelers, especially business class and disabled travelers. These accommodations cost more than the much nicer hotel we stayed in the previous several nights, and we booked one room with a jacuzzi tub and one with a roll-in shower at the previous hotel. I wish we had stayed at the Super 8; I just wanted the best for my clients. I feel ripped off, and we won’t even stay for the late checkout. We would rather pay to eat somewhere else this morning than pay $45 PER ROOM for another hour in this place.
We have had many meals over the years. Honestly was hit and miss. Sometimes the food was excellent other times it was mediocre. I haven't stayed at the hotel for years but have heard the rooms have improved greatly. Our last experience eating breakfast was great. Costs are a little high but it was good!Nearby activities: Great location, lots of places to walk including warmspring creek, the art center and downtown Lewistown.
The Yogo Inn is classic Lewistown ! We ate dinner in the bar and really like the casual atmosphere and availability of sports. (You can get the same food in the more formal dining room.
