Lewisburg Delicatessen

Felt it necessary to leave this review, I 've been living in lewisburg and occasionally ordering here for about 5 years. I love the food, seriously. However, tonight i took my girlfriend in for her first experience here. It was 6:36pm, they close at 7. I was asked what we wanted because the panini press was off etc etc. And I expressed I wanted cold subs. Then I was told she didn 't have any ham sliced and no rolls and they close in 10 minutes . It was closer to 30 minutes. Shouldn 't matter. Close your door if you can 't serve food. We were laughed at when I said we will just leave. I won 't be coming back here again, this left a bad taste in my mouth. Also I think it 's relevant to say that I 've been working food service for the past 15 years. I 'm not insensitive, and I 'm pretty understanding of the struggle. Really not acceptable as far as service.

Came in about 20 minutes before closing and was told they shut everything off bc they were closed but the door was unlocked. Air conditioning wasn’t running and the lady laughed at us on our way out the door after we asked for subs. Not okay in any

Italian panini was phenomenal!!! Wife had Chicken cheese steak said it was amazing!!!! Staff was pleasant and inviting. Will return and definitely will tell others to try this place. 5 stars isn't enough!!!

Review purely based on poor customer service like many others here. As a person of color I feel like I would not go into this store again as i was made to feel uncomfortable yet again. This was the second time I had just walked into the store. The first time I walked in the owner was mumbling and making faces at me and it made me extremely uncomfortable. Anyway, today looking for something I decided to walk into the store. The lady owner came out the back yelling at me and my mother that the store is closed and the floor was wet and if we couldn't see it. Then she quickly changed her tone to make it seem as if she was concerned for us falling after we told her that there was no sign stating either. I am an adult and I know the difference between yelling in anger and being concerned for me. As soon as we walked out she screamed at the other guy at the top of her voice (almost scary) by then I was so mad and uncomfortable that I didn't care to listen. Do not care if their food is good I would not go in here And will tell my other friends not to either. I expect a rude reply to this review from the owner.

Unsatisfactory customer service! Honestly, this was the first time ever of being treated as a customer in such a disrespectful way. The woman taking my order on the phone was very loud, rude, and condescending! It sounded as though she was doing me a big favor, and I was her biggest annoyance. When picking my order, I pointed out that her tone of voice on the phone was very loud to which she responded that that's the way it is, and if I don't like it, I don't have to do business there. Good advice. I will not return to this place again.
