Wholegreen - Letterkenny

After looking for vegan food donegal, I remembered this little jewel in letterkenny. we had a fantastic lunch of creamy vegan lasagne with a huge beet root and carrot salad and a part of curcumenical, so good! the staff was very helpful and friendly. I will be a regular from now on.

I prefer the cakes etc. over the savory food. I recommend the carrot cake as well as the cookies and flapjack. You can ask to customize food on their menu, e.g. ask for garlic sauce in the volcano wrap instead of spicy chickpeas. Staff is extremely friendly. Edit: So disappointed that they are now selling eggs and milk. Also less seating area available than before due to changing concept. There is now a store where you can buy shampoo, bamboo toothbrushes and the likes. Updated from previous review on 2021-02-09

Came here every day while we were staying in Letterkenny, sometimes more than once, and looked forward to it every time. Smoothies were fresh and delicious, sandwiches were tasty and varied but you have no idea how long I'd been waiting to find a place that did a good vegan scone. I tried them all but the apple one was the star for me. It's also great to see a vegan cafe as a meeting spot for people who might not be meat-free but might end up trying the food. Would 100% recommend for anybody staying on travelling through the town.

I really liked this place. Food was delicious. Portions are big and staff is lovely. It’s pretty much all vegan from what I could see on the menu.

Hard to find vegan food in Doneygal, so don't skip this place!
