Miro's - Lethbridge

Meal was quite tasty. The lamb was cooked perfectly which is very easy to get wrong. Definitely not huge portion sizes but you shouldn't expect that at this kind of restaurant. Easily the best fine dining experience in town.

Miro is never disappointed! The ambience is fantastic, the service is great and the food is delicious! We always love the personal integrity of the cook, in the dining room to check it with its diners. The food is fresh and delicious every time we dine. It's... a top choice with our circle!

It's been 6 years since I've been dining at Miro's and the food is still wonderful BUT the service is very disappointing. I would describe it as a terse and unwilling. When we arrived, the restaurant's soundtrack was a combination of Rolling Stones and other...golden Oldies Rock. It is the kind of music that the kitchen could have blown if they are ready for service BUT it is not suitable for dinner service in a high-end restaurant. We had asked to change or reject the music. They changed it to an equally clamping Bluesy soundtrack more suitable for a smokey Blues Bar. Why not just play a gentle, classic music? I know I'm going over the music, but it's an important part of the stage for a high-end restaurant. It is part of the experience. Again, I asked them to turn it off or change it. You turned it off. That, in an empty restaurant, it makes sad and lonely. I feel that the server just didn't want to be there. No smile, no welcome peter she just listed the specials, took our orders and that was it. Again, the food was wonderful, but it's not enough. I need to manage all the details of the restaurant. And service is one of them. Another detail is that the restaurant uses paper napkins. Really? For a meal costs $200 I expect restaurant bedding. I must give Miro an average rating based on the overall experience.

We were looking for an evening of restaurants. We were quickly welcomed and sitting. After 10-15 minutes we ordered our wine and waited longer than 25 minutes! When our meal came, mine wasn't what I ordered. My mistake wasn't sending it back, but if my husband was done before I got my order. When I drew this to the server, she said I'm sorry, and that was, I think. The food was well prepared, not exactly what I ordered. For a restaurant the calibre of Miro, the cost of food and wine, I expect a better service
