Bidrage med feedbackThe staff didn't seem to want to be there. Had a stone overcooked fondue and a lasagna that could come from motorway services
This is a central place for a quick lunch. It is somewhat cheaper than restaurants on the ground floor. Very limited menu, service is quite slow, butter comes when bread is finished reverse; beautiful view of the mountains though ...
Place has improved greatly. Now light and airy inside with light pine table tops. The waitress is welcoming and helpful with menu choices. The plat de jour and dessert superb and good Savoyard in style. Other main courses good, I liked the crosiflette/ frites good...too. Only problem is that the only outside seating is on a balcony overlooking the slopes, but it is full anyway. Used by locals which is a good sign. Top marks as a lunch stop.
The worst restaurant in France. We stopped there after a whole day of ski. They have only a few items in the menu. We had a tomato soup and sausage with fries. The soup was inedible, so was the sausage. We took comfort with the...hot wine and the bear.
We ate here twice this week and had very good food at a great price both times. The Plat du Jour was 12 Euros for skirt of beef steak with blue cheese sauce, chunky chips and garlicky French beans at lunch time yesterday. The Friday...evening deal of anything from the grill menu plus continuous beer or wine for 25 Euros was this evening's choice. Two had the 4 lamb chops, one the entrecôte and I had slow cooked pork ribs in barbecue sauce. All came with chunky chips and salad. The desserts at 5 Euros each are also excellent. Lemon meringue, blackcurrant tart, chocolate fondant all lovely. All washed down with a nicely rounded house red wine and served by a friendly, attentive and experienced server. I'd really recommend this place.
