Bar Le Mottaret - Les Allues

They have accommodated us when we came to the hotel lately. the duck was beautiful. but at the end of the night the kartoffels had run out. cheap and friendly waiters

Had lunch here for 5 people. Yeah, it's cheap, but not very nice. easy to leave in warmer and soggy burger

We were in the hotel and it was convenient to have some of our meals in the restaurant. it is a buffet restaurant without a la carte alternative. if they eat a lot, then it's a good value for money, but if they don't. then it's expensive. service is good and the wine list is quite extensive. if they do not stay in the hotel, it is advisable to book as it is a whole house every night. as a buffet place is recommended.

Where do I start.. best cocktails in town. With Lawrence the general and his companions cooking up a storm behind the bar. Went there with the Basecamp crew for a few drinks before heading down the valley but ended up staying most of the night....As they say in France, the ambiance was “magnifique”. Fully recommend for a casual evening of classy drinks by the fireplace. Keep up the good work guys.

Cafe Mott is tucked away on the left just above Mottaret centre when you ski down from Plattiers side of the mountain. Well worth finding for an inexpensive lunch or a great BBQ steak. Late in the season it gets the sun on the terrace...so this is our favourite time to visit. Steaks here are really good value as is the Plat Du Jour. Well worth findign this one.
