El Salaito - Lepe

Visited this restaurant on the seafront and they sold us some dorado which was absolutely delicious, They never told us we were paying per 100grams. Anyway the bill came to 76 euros which was the most expensive lunch. We paid for. Was it worth it, yes and it was as much you would spend in Dublin. Most of the restaurants here are less than half the cost. Go here but be smart on ordering from the menu. Don't expect a smile, as its not an American customer service attitude. Beautiful view and kids were happy playing on the sand in front. What's the price you pay for this. You get a moment to talk to your wife and take stock of life

If you are looking for the best food in the area, easy going, by the beach, stop at el salaito. We are here for a special date, sant John, meaning party time so... super busy, but on an average day as well as today, here u can find the best fresh and yummy fish of the region. Los alistados, hard to translate I’m Italian and have no idea about how to say that, are the best shrimps ever!!! U just need to take the head out and suck it... !! : super juicy!!! I know you might decide not to go for it, but if u don’t u miss the best of what u can enjoy here. Go for it!

Reseña de un almuerzo de Agosto 2023 Hemos almorzado en este magnífico Restaurante con vistas al mar en primera línea de playa y toda la materia prima que probamos estaba excelente. Os recomiendo las sardinas, que la venden por unidad a 2€ y están para chuparse los dedos. También comimos unas ostras y cigalas recomendadas por el camarero no recuerdo el nombre de primera calidad, acompañadas de una botellita de champagne riquísima. Volveremos sin duda el año que viene en Verano a este Restaurante de primera calidad. Fuimos 6 y pagamos unos 300€, la verdad que muy bien, para lo que comimos y vivimos y por cierto, encima nos regalaron un décimo de Navidad de una peña que creo que se llama El Lobito o El Chivito, que ya solo faltaría que tocase el décimo.

Muy muy buena comida a precio razonable, y buen servicio. Repetiremos.
