El Bárbaro Restaurante - Leon

Tried to order macuás, couldn't coz the were out of guayaba juice. Ordered piña coladas, received more like a watered down drink. Tried to order nachos... Couldn't again, because they were out of avocados. Had to order ceviches (3) and one Angus burger. Food arrived 25 minutes later, COLD and it overcooked (when ordered medium). The shrimp seemed to have been those from the frozen bags and thawed in the microwave (and again, overcooked). Total disappointment! The waiter had some attitude on top of it all. Even when we didn't have to pay for the burger, it was a waste of our time.

Tourist trap. Very lame burger served cold. Ceviche with frozen shrimps. Very poor service. Avoid

Great atmosphere here! The restaurant is one of the more upscale places we went to, during our trip. The food was really good and the atmosphere was amazing. It went from a nice, casual dinner to more of a nightclub throughout the evening. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well, so I left early. My friends who stayed the night told me that a local high school marching band came in and started playing music, which everyone in place knew the words to and started singing. I missed out.

Ordered the vegetarian curry it is very spicy and the waitress didn't say something before. They didn't made an effort to fix took the dish and returned it with more after in it. Ended up hungry and angry

I've been here several times over the years, and have not been disappointed. Their menu is very diverse and a little something for everyone. It is a great place for sure!
