Picked up salads and sandwiches here today. Lunch was simple and delicious. The older gentleman chatted my kids up so much they asked to come back for lunch tomorrow. Easy to grab lunch or even sit down and enjoy our food. They clearly enjoy making food here and it shows. Highly recommend.

First time trying it out. The cashier didn't rush me looking at the menu. The sandwich was huge (chicken salad/jalapeno focaccia). Was really not expecting much but even the first bite was delicious. Really reasonably priced for the amount they give. Also found a cookie in my bag which was a bonus.

The owner is a very kind man, and the sandwiches are sumptuous.

Hands down one of the best Italian deli sandwiches I've ever had. If you're downtown Sacramento and looking for a place to eat lunch, you have to try this place. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly.

Best sandwiches in the area! I had no idea this place was still open; I had thought for sure it was closed during the pandemic. The sandwiches are always filling and generally consistent. Service is pretty slow though, so make sure you give yourself enough time to order and wait. When I’ve called in the past, the phone just rings. So I just walk in now. Pesto, Combo, California Club and Italian are my go to sandwiches
