The Court Yard - Leixlip legal town

A lovely hotel with very friendly and professional staff. It has a great atmosphere with loads of space to relax. A great bar area The bedrooms are in need of an update and a little work but don't let this put you off. I would recommend it to all.

Beautiful location, great staff and the food was superb

Nov 2023: The five of us had a great lunch here last weekend. The manager facilitated our preferred choice of table, which we greatly appreciated. I had sausage and mash, which was just gorgeous as well as generous. My companions had Beef and Guinness pie, chicken wings and two had chicken burgers. There was hardly a pattern left on the plates! Then three of the party opted for desserts one portion of churros and two of sticky toffee pudding. We also had coffees and tees. However, we all stuck with water as the beverage to accompany our meal. Staff in the Courtyard are always pleasant and very helpful. Service is efficient, the food is is good and the tvs are never too loud. We always enjoy our visits. Total price for five of us €108.00. Five of us had an excellent Sunday lunch here ably served by the charming Suzanne. She entertained us all while managing to accurately take the order for drinks and then for food. The menu has been upgraded since our last visit, and we were very impressed with the changes. I had a generous portion of bbq meaty pork ribs, which were finger licking good. I passed the accompanying chips to my companions. Two of the party ordered chicken fajitas which came on a three tiered serving stand. They were very happily consumed with approval. The others had chicken wings and pil pil prawns. The portion of prawns looked small, but I was assured they were delicious and sufficient in quantity. The wings were good too. Then we all had desserts. Sadly the bread and butter pudding was not avaliable, but the sticky toffee pudding was very nice. The brownie was particularly well received and the churros were very tasty. We all had non alcoholic drinks as well, in some cases two! And final bill for FIVE was €124.65. This was excellent value for a delicious meal with which we were all satisfied. And having Suzanne as our server was a delightful bonus!

I was at this hotel to organise an event. The support of the sales team to organise the dinner for 50 is commendable. Would definitely recommend the hotel as an event venue
