This is a really cute cafe 6 min away from the hotel I stayed at. I had a vegetarian omelette and a cappuccino. Loved it! Very cute ambience as well!

Wonderful! Call made a reservation for one. Service was terrific food was even better, my new brunch spot!

We were returning a hire car to Stuttgart airpost and decided to fill up at the cheaper Jet garage (Hauptstrasse 135 - 2.9 km from the Airport Terminal) and we still had some spare time. We drove maybe 300 metres further down the road, parked the car and happily discovered Zimtzucker. It was delightful! The proprietor was charming and welcoming. The place was modern and attractively quirky with maybe 8 seats outside and more than that inside. The coffee was excellent and the cakes (as in café und kuchen) were good although the apple cake was even better than the red currant cake. When you go make sure you asked for the obligatory cream - it’s served as a separate portion. We were really pleased we found this place.

The Cafe Zimt & Zucker is located on the main thoroughfare of Echterdingen (Hauptstrasse) within the historic town center, and is rightfully described as a great little jewel of a breakfast and coffee place. The breakfast offer needs to be highlighted especially since this bright and friendly designed coffee place excels in offering the best breakfast in Echterdingen by a mile. A great variety of hot and cold dishes, very friendly service, a cosy atmosphere - and really great coffee and tea all add up to a sublime breakfast experience. A really great way to start your day. The Cafe Zimt & Zucker is often very busy for breakfast, and thus it is recommended to reserve a table ahead - especially if you want to visit with a larger group of friends and/or family. This place is of course also very nice for a regular coffee break - accompanied with tasty treats of all sorts, and there is also a little boutique shop adjacent to the guest room where one can buy nice gifts and/or nick nacks. We always found the service to be stellar - friendly, personal, quick and attentive to guest needs. Overall, this is a great place and certainly worth a visit - especially for getting that perfect start into your day. Highly recommended, and I can't wait to go back.
